"B" Division Winners - judged by Mitsuharu Kanazashi

First Place

His sesame is wonderful color, which reminds me of the fall in the northern part of Japan. The quality and quantity of his coat are excellent. His face shows "kani" (spirited boldness), "soboku" (simple beauty, or natural beauty) and dignity. I think of him as the "second advent" of the good old Shiba Inu. It might be a long way for the exhibitor to bring him to the National, because of his color. I was very much moved emotionally when the exhibitor shed tears of gratitude. It was a great experience as a judge. Size 15.55 inches.

"C" Division Winners - judged by Mitsuhisa Akimoto

Fourth Place

His height is at the middle of the standard, his body has enough bone, is firm and well balanced. His attitude is calm, but his movement is light and nimble. His deep quiet eyes show "kan-i". His sesame coat is almost perfect as a small size dog, the quality and color is wonderful. Because of his coat, he can be evaluated very high even though some faults exist.

"B" Division Winners - judged by Toshiichi Morikawa

First Place

His sexuality is very clear, the height is the middle of the standard, his body construction is very good with the right amount of bone and well-developed muscles. The total impression of his face and body is very favorable as a Shiba. He shows "kan-i" (spirited boldness), his eyes show good nature and dignity, his movement and gaits are also very good. His sesame coat is characteristic of its color. He would look better if the sesame fur on his face is slightly more dense.

Fourth Place

His front, middle and rear body have no fault. His body is full. His good points are, large skull, wide forehead, well-shaped eyes and the calm attitude of his age. However, his rear legs slightly lack power.
