Nippo no. 62-37019

88th Nippo National Show

Judges Comments for the Seiken (Adult over 2 ½ years) Male Class, Fall 1991

"B" Division Winners - judged by Kookichi Miyazawa

First Place

This dog was very appealing in the way he stood for evaluation, looking full of vigor and showing the proper dignified facial expression. Body structure is correct and his gait is very light-footed. His red color is clear and bright, with stiff, straight hair showing the high quality and essence of the Japanese dog.

Judges Comments for the Seiken (Adult over 2 ½ years) Male Class, Fall 1992

"A" Division Winners - judged by Mitsuru Akiyoshi

Third Place

His full, developed head has good structure and correctly angled ears. His sexual distinction is clearly male. His powerfully expressive eyes with the long outer corner (The words "kire-naga" or cut long, are a classic descriptor of beautiful eyes in Japan.) are very attractive. I can see his high quality through his noble face, well balanced body, strong guard hairs standing out from the body at a good angle, and good color with clear white markings under his body.

90th Nippo National Show

Judges Comments for the Seiken (Adult over 2 ½ years) Mall Class, Fall 1993

"A" Division Winners - judged by Haruo Imanari

Third Place

His coat, both color and quality, is one of the best in this show. His manly face has power. His body is dry and tight, but he appears not to have enough vigor.
